恭读耶肋米亚先知书 15:10, 16-21
我的母亲！我真不幸，你竟生了我这个与普世对抗相争的人。我没有向人借贷，人也没有向我借贷，人却都辱骂我。
你的话一来到，我就吞下去；你的话便成了我的喜悦，我心中的欢乐，上主，万军的天主，因为我是归于你名下的，我从没有坐在欢笑者的集会中一同取乐；我却依你的指示独自静坐，因为你使我忿怒填胸。为什么我的痛苦如此久长，我的创伤不可医治，痊愈无望？你于我好像是一条不常有水、变化无常的溪流！ 为此上主这样说：“你若回来，我必让你回来，使你能再立在我面前；你若能发表高尚而非荒谬的思想，你就可作我的口舌，使他们转向你，而不是你转向他们。这样，我必使你对这人民成为一设防的铜墙，他们能攻击你，却不能制胜你，因为有我与你同在，援助你，解救你，我必解救你脱离恶人的手，由强暴人的掌握中将你赎回。”
Reading 1
A reading from the book of the Prophet Jeremiah 15:10, 16-21
Woe to me, mother, that you gave me birth!
a man of strife and contention to all the land!
I neither borrow nor lend,
yet all curse me.
When I found your words, I devoured them;
they became my joy and the happiness of my heart,
Because I bore your name,
O LORD, God of hosts.
I did not sit celebrating
in the circle of merrymakers;
Under the weight of your hand I sat alone
because you filled me with indignation.
Why is my pain continuous,
my wound incurable, refusing to be healed?
You have indeed become for me a treacherous brook,
whose waters do not abide!
Thus the LORD answered me:
If you repent, so that I restore you,
in my presence you shall stand;
If you bring forth the precious without the vile,
you shall be my mouthpiece.
Then it shall be they who turn to you,
and you shall not turn to them;
And I will make you toward this people
a solid wall of brass.
Though they fight against you,
they shall not prevail,
For I am with you,
to deliver and rescue you, says the LORD.
I will free you from the hand of the wicked,
and rescue you from the grasp of the violent.

恭读圣玛窦福音 13:44-46
那时，耶稣对群众说：“天国好像是藏在地里的宝贝；人找到了，就把它藏起来；高兴地去卖掉他所有的一切，买了那块地。天国又好像一个寻找完美珍珠的商人；他一找到一颗宝贵的珍珠，就去卖掉他所有的一切，买了它。”
Gospel
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 13:44-46
Jesus said to his disciples:
“The Kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field,
which a person finds and hides again,
and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like a merchant
searching for fine pearls.
When he finds a pearl of great price,
he goes and sells all that he has and buys it.”
