恭读耶肋米亚先知书 18:1-6
上主有话传给耶肋米亚说：“起来，下到陶工家里去，在那里我要让你听到我的话。”我便下到陶工家里，见他正在轮盘上工作。陶工用泥做的器皿，若在他手中坏了，他便再做，或另做成一个器皿，全随他的意思去做。于是上主的话传给我说：“以色列家！我岂不能像这陶工一样对待你们？以色列家！看，你们在我手中，就像泥土在陶工手中一样。”
Reading 1
A reading from the book of the Prophet Jeremiah 18:1-6
This word came to Jeremiah from the LORD:
Rise up, be off to the potter’s house;
there I will give you my message.
I went down to the potter’s house and there he was,
working at the wheel.
Whenever the object of clay which he was making
turned out badly in his hand,
he tried again,
making of the clay another object of whatever sort he pleased.
Then the word of the LORD came to me:
Can I not do to you, house of Israel,
as this potter has done? says the LORD.
Indeed, like clay in the hand of the potter,
so are you in my hand, house of Israel.

恭读圣玛窦福音 13:47-53
那时，耶稣对群众说：“天国好像撒在海里的网，网罗各种的鱼。网一满了，人就拉上岸来，坐下，拣好的，放在器皿里；坏的，扔在外面。在今世的终结时，也将如此：天使要出去，把恶人由义人中分开，把他们扔在火窑里；在那里要有哀号和切齿。这一切你们都明白了吗？”他们说：“是的。”他就对他们说：“为此，凡成为天国门徒的经师，就好像一个家主，从他的宝库里，提出新的和旧的东西。”耶稣讲完了这些比喻，就从那里走了。
Gospel
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 13:47-53
Jesus said to the disciples:
“The Kingdom of heaven is like a net thrown into the sea,
which collects fish of every kind.
When it is full they haul it ashore
and sit down to put what is good into buckets.
What is bad they throw away.
Thus it will be at the end of the age.
The angels will go out and separate the wicked from the righteous
and throw them into the fiery furnace,
where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.”
“Do you understand all these things?”
They answered, “Yes.”
And he replied,
“Then every scribe who has been instructed in the Kingdom of heaven
is like the head of a household who brings from his storeroom
both the new and the old.”
When Jesus finished these parables, he went away from there.
