读经一
恭读厄则克耳先知书 37:12-14
吾主上主这样说：“看，我要亲自打开你们的坟墓；我的百姓，我要从你们的坟墓中，把你们领出来，引你们进入以色列地域。我的百姓！当我打开你们的坟墓，把你们从坟墓领出来的时候，你们便承认我是上主。我要把我的神注入你们内，使你们复活，叫你们安居在你们的地域；那时，你们便要承认我，上主言出必行——吾主上主的断语。”
Reading 1
A reading from the Book of the Prophet Ezekiel 37:12-14
Thus says the Lord GOD:
O my people, I will open your graves
and have you rise from them,
and bring you back to the land of Israel.
Then you shall know that I am the LORD,
when I open your graves and have you rise from them,
O my people!
I will put my spirit in you that you may live,
and I will settle you upon your land;
thus you shall know that I am the LORD.
I have promised, and I will do it, says the LORD.

恭读圣保禄宗徒致罗马人书 8:8-11
弟兄姐妹们：
凡随从肉性的人，决不能得天主的欢心。至于你们，你们已不属于肉性，而是属于圣神，只要天主的圣神，住在你们内。
谁若没有基督的圣神，谁就不属于基督。如果基督在你们内，身体固然因罪恶而死亡，但神魂却赖正义而生活。再者，如果那使耶稣从死者中复活者的圣神，住在你们内，那么，那使基督从死者中复活的，也必要借那住在你们内的圣神，使你们有死的身体复活。
Reading 2
A reading from the Letter of St. Paul to the Romans 8:8-11
Brothers and sisters:
Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
But you are not in the flesh;
on the contrary, you are in the spirit,
if only the Spirit of God dwells in you.
Whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.
But if Christ is in you,
although the body is dead because of sin,
the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,
the one who raised Christ from the dead
will give life to your mortal bodies also,
through his Spirit dwelling in you.

恭读圣若望福音 11:1-45
那时候，有一个病人，名叫拉匝禄，住在伯达尼，即玛利亚和她姐姐玛尔大所住的村庄。玛利亚就是那曾用香液傅抹过主，并用自己的头发，把他的脚擦干的妇人；患病的拉匝禄是她的兄弟。
他们姐妹两人，便派人到耶稣那里，说：“主啊，你所爱的人病了！” 耶稣听了，便说：“这病不至于死，只是为彰显天主的光荣，并为叫天主子因此受光荣。”
耶稣素来疼爱玛尔大及她的妹妹和拉匝禄。
当耶稣听说拉匝禄病了，仍在原地逗留了两天。此后，耶稣对门徒说：“我们再到犹太去吧！” 门徒向他说：“辣彼，近来犹太人图谋砸死你，你还要到那里去么？”
耶稣回答说：“白日不是有十二个时辰么？人若在白日行路，不会碰跌，因为看得见这世界的光；人若在黑夜行路，就要碰跌，因为他没有光。”
耶稣说了这些话，又给门徒说：“我们的朋友拉匝禄睡着了；我要去叫醒他。”
门徒便对耶稣说：“主，如果他睡着了，必定会好的。” 耶稣原本是指拉匝禄的死说的，门徒却以为耶稣是指安眠睡觉。
然后，耶稣就明明地向门徒说：“拉匝禄死了。为了你们，我喜欢我不在那里，好叫你们相信。我们到他那里去吧！”
号称狄狄摩的多默，便向其他同伴说：“我们也去，同他一起死吧！”
耶稣一到了伯达尼，得知拉匝禄在坟墓里，已经四天了。伯达尼靠近耶路撒冷，相距约十五 “斯塔狄”，因而有许多犹太人，来到玛尔大和玛利亚那里，为她们兄弟的死，安慰她们。
玛尔大一听说耶稣来了，便去迎接他；玛利亚仍坐在家里。玛尔大对耶稣说：“主！如果你在这里，我的兄弟决不会死！就是现在，我也知道：你无论向天主求什么，天主必要赐给你。”
耶稣对玛尔大说：“你的兄弟必定要复活。”
玛尔大说：“我知道在末日复活时，他必要复活。”
耶稣对玛尔大说：“我就是复活，就是生命；信从我的，即使死了，仍要活着；凡活着而信从我的人，必永远不死。你信么？”
玛尔大回答说：“是的，主，我信你是默西亚，天主子，要来到世界上的那一位。”
玛尔大说了这话，就去叫她的妹妹玛利亚，偷偷地说：“师父来了，他叫你。” 玛利亚一听这话，就立刻起身，到耶稣那里去。那时，耶稣还没有进入村庄，仍在玛尔大迎接他的地方。那些陪同和安慰玛利亚的犹太人，见玛利亚急忙起身出去，便跟着她，以为她到坟墓去哭泣。
当玛利亚来到耶稣所在的地方，一看见耶稣，就俯伏在他脚前，向他说：“主！如果你在这里，我的兄弟决不会死！”
耶稣看见玛利亚哭泣，还有同她一起来的犹太人也哭泣；耶稣便心神感伤，难过起来，于是说：“你们把他安放在那里？”
他们回答说：“主，你来，看吧！” 耶稣哭了。于是犹太人说：“看，他多么爱他啊！” 其中有些人说：“他既开了瞎子的眼睛，难道不能使这人不死么？”
耶稣心中又感伤起来，来到坟墓前。这坟墓是个洞穴，前面有一块石头堵着。
耶稣说：“挪开这块石头！”
死者的姐姐玛尔大向耶稣说：“主！已经臭了，因为已经四天了。”
耶稣对玛尔大说：“我不是告诉过你：如果你信，就会看到天主的光荣吗？” 他们便挪开了石头。
耶稣举目向上，说：“父啊！我感谢你，因为你俯听了我。我本来知道你常常俯听我，但是，我说这话，是为了四周站立的群众，好叫他们相信，是你派遣了我。” 说完这话，便大声喊说：“拉匝禄！出来吧！” 死者便出来了，脚和手都缠着布条，面上还蒙着汗巾。耶稣向他们说：“解开他，让他行走吧。”
那些来到玛利亚那里的犹太人，一看到耶稣所行的事，就有许多人相信了他。
Gospel
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 11:1-45
Now a man was ill, Lazarus from Bethany,
the village of Mary and her sister Martha.
Mary was the one who had anointed the Lord with perfumed oil
and dried his feet with her hair;
it was her brother Lazarus who was ill.
So the sisters sent word to him saying,
“Master, the one you love is ill.”
When Jesus heard this he said,
“This illness is not to end in death,
but is for the glory of God,
that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”
Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
So when he heard that he was ill,
he remained for two days in the place where he was.
Then after this he said to his disciples,
“Let us go back to Judea.”
The disciples said to him,
“Rabbi, the Jews were just trying to stone you,
and you want to go back there?”
Jesus answered,
“Are there not twelve hours in a day?
If one walks during the day, he does not stumble,
because he sees the light of this world.
But if one walks at night, he stumbles,
because the light is not in him.”
He said this, and then told them,
“Our friend Lazarus is asleep,
but I am going to awaken him.”
So the disciples said to him,
“Master, if he is asleep, he will be saved.”
But Jesus was talking about his death,
while they thought that he meant ordinary sleep.
So then Jesus said to them clearly,
“Lazarus has died.
And I am glad for you that I was not there,
that you may believe.
Let us go to him.”
So Thomas, called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples,
“Let us also go to die with him.”
When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus
had already been in the tomb for four days.
Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, only about two miles away.
And many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary
to comfort them about their brother.
When Martha heard that Jesus was coming,
she went to meet him;
but Mary sat at home.
Martha said to Jesus,
“Lord, if you had been here,
my brother would not have died.
But even now I know that whatever you ask of God,
God will give you.”
Jesus said to her,
“Your brother will rise.”
Martha said to him,
“I know he will rise,
in the resurrection on the last day.”
Jesus told her,
“I am the resurrection and the life;
whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live,
and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.
Do you believe this?”
She said to him, “Yes, Lord.
I have come to believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God,
the one who is coming into the world.”
When she had said this,
she went and called her sister Mary secretly, saying,
“The teacher is here and is asking for you.”
As soon as she heard this,
she rose quickly and went to him.
For Jesus had not yet come into the village,
but was still where Martha had met him.
So when the Jews who were with her in the house comforting her
saw Mary get up quickly and go out,
they followed her,
presuming that she was going to the tomb to weep there.
When Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him,
she fell at his feet and said to him,
“Lord, if you had been here,
my brother would not have died.”
When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping,
he became perturbed and deeply troubled, and said,
“Where have you laid him?”
They said to him, “Sir, come and see.”
And Jesus wept.
So the Jews said, “See how he loved him.”
But some of them said,
“Could not the one who opened the eyes of the blind man
have done something so that this man would not have died?”
So Jesus, perturbed again, came to the tomb.
It was a cave, and a stone lay across it.
Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”
Martha, the dead man’s sister, said to him,
“Lord, by now there will be a stench;
he has been dead for four days.”
Jesus said to her,
“Did I not tell you that if you believe
you will see the glory of God?”
So they took away the stone.
And Jesus raised his eyes and said,
“Father, I thank you for hearing me.
I know that you always hear me;
but because of the crowd here I have said this,
that they may believe that you sent me.”
And when he had said this,
He cried out in a loud voice,
“Lazarus, come out!”
The dead man came out,
tied hand and foot with burial bands,
and his face was wrapped in a cloth.
So Jesus said to them,
“Untie him and let him go.”
Now many of the Jews who had come to Mary
and seen what he had done began to believe in him.
