恭读依撒意亚先知书 6:1-8
乌齐雅王逝世那年，我看见我主坐在崇高的御座上，他的衣边拖曳满殿。 「色辣芬」侍立在他左右，各有六个翅膀：两个盖住脸，两个盖住脚，两个用来飞翔。他们互相高呼说：“圣！圣！圣！万军的上主！他的光荣充满大地！”由于呼喊的声音，门限的基石也震撼了；殿宇内充满了烟雾。我遂说：“我有祸了！我完了！因为我是个唇舌不洁的人，住在唇舌不洁的人民中间，竟亲眼见了君王——万军的上主！”当时有一个“色辣芬”飞到我面前，手中拿着钳子，从祭坛上取了一块火炭，接触我的口说：“你看，这火炭接触了你的口唇，你的邪恶已经消除，你的罪孽已获赦免！”那时我听见我主的声音说：“我将派遣谁呢？谁肯为我们去呢！”我回答说：“我在这里，请派遣我！”
Reading 1
A reading from the book of the Prophet Isaiah 6:1-8
In the year King Uzziah died,
I saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne,
with the train of his garment filling the temple.
Seraphim were stationed above; each of them had six wings:
with two they veiled their faces,
with two they veiled their feet,
and with two they hovered aloft.
They cried one to the other,
“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts!
All the earth is filled with his glory!”
At the sound of that cry, the frame of the door shook
and the house was filled with smoke.
Then I said, “Woe is me, I am doomed!
For I am a man of unclean lips,
living among a people of unclean lips;
yet my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!”
Then one of the seraphim flew to me,
holding an ember that he had taken with tongs from the altar.
He touched my mouth with it and said,
“See, now that this has touched your lips,
your wickedness is removed, your sin purged.”
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
“Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?”
“Here I am,” I said; “send me!”

恭读圣玛窦福音 10:24-33
那时候，耶稣向他的门徒说：“没有徒弟胜过师傅的，也没有仆人胜过他主人的；徒弟能如他的师傅一样，仆人能如他的主人一样，也就够了。若人们称家主为‘贝耳则步’，对他的家人更该怎样呢？所以，你们不要害怕他们；因为没有遮掩的事，将来不被揭露的；也没有隐藏的事，将来不被知道的。我在暗中给你们所说的，你们要在光天化日之下报告出来；你们由耳语所听到的，要在屋顶上张扬出来。你们不要害怕那杀害肉身，而不能杀害灵魂的；但更要害怕那能使灵魂和肉身陷于地狱中的。两只麻雀不是卖一个铜钱吗？但若没有你们天父的许可，它们中连一只也不会掉在地上。就是你们的头发，也都一一数过了。所以，你们不要怕；你们比许多麻雀还贵重呢！凡在人前承认我的，我在我天上的父前也必承认他；但谁若在人前否认我，我在我天上的父前也必否认他。”

A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 10:24-33
Jesus said to his Apostles:
“No disciple is above his teacher,
no slave above his master.
It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher,
for the slave that he become like his master.
If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul,
how much more those of his household!
“Therefore do not be afraid of them.
Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed,
nor secret that will not be known.
What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light;
what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul;
rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy
both soul and body in Gehenna.
Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin?
Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s knowledge.
Even all the hairs of your head are counted.
So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Everyone who acknowledges me before others
I will acknowledge before my heavenly Father.
But whoever denies me before others,
I will deny before my heavenly Father.”
